Learn More About The Station

HOW DO I RESERVE A BED OR COTTAGE AT THE STATION?

To reserve a unit in The Station, go to the Leasing section and fill out online or download your application and sponsor guarantee forms. Once completed, submit the forms, or bring them to The Station Clubhouse to pick out your cottage. After you select your cottage, you will put down a deposit equal to one month's rent in order to reserve the cottage. This deposit will become your security deposit once you take occupancy. We will try to make this process as simple as possible for you! If you have any leasing questions, please call the office.

HOW LONG IS THE LEASE AGREEMENT?

Leases last for 12 equal installments, beginning August 18th and ending July 31st.

HOW MANY BEDROOMS ARE IN THE STUDENT COTTAGES?

The Station offers a variety of floor plans with 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedrooms.

HOW MANY BATHROOMS ARE IN THE STUDENT COTTAGES?

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. 

WHAT KIND OF AMENITIES DOES THE STATION OFFER?

The Station offers a huge resort-style pool, hammocks, fire pit, bag toss, sand volleyball, free tanning & sauna, yoga studio, extensive fitness facilities, golf simulator, private & group study rooms, computer lab, game lounge, clubroom with Internet café, and resident clubhouse..

HOW FAR IS IT FROM THE STATION TO THE PSU CAMPUS?

The Station is just a short walk from campus.

DOES THE STATION COME FURNISHED WITH APPLIANCES?

Yes. Each Station cottage comes furnished with every standard appliance: refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, range/oven, microwave, and a full size washer and dryer.

DO THE COTTAGES AT THE STATION COME WITH FURNITURE?

Yes, we offer a furniture package that includes high-quality living room and bedroom furniture, including a Queen size mattress.

DO THE COTTAGES HAVE PATIOS OR PORCHES?

Each cottage has either a patio or deck (depending on topography), and some cottages have large front porches as well.

ARE GRILLS ALLOWED ON THE PATIOS OR DECKS?

Yes. The spacious patios and decks at The Station are perfect for grilling, unlike apartments where grills are prohibited by fire code. Furthermore, our decks and patios are much larger than your traditional apartment, making them perfect for entertaining.

HOW MANY PARKING SPACES ARE PROVIDED?

Parking is first come, first served, based on when you reserve your cottage.

ARE THE COTTAGES EQUIPPED WITH HIGH SPEED INTERNET LINES?

Yes, the cottages are wired for high speed internet and cable.

WHAT TYPE OF ON-SITE SECURITY DOES THE STATION PROVIDE?

The Station is a community with video-recorded surveillance and on-site management. In addition, the cottages are wired for alarm systems with additional monitoring service available upon request and at the resident’s cost.

For our tenants' convenience, The Station also issues electronic key fobs to each resident, which allow for a keying system similar to a hotel's in which each resident has one key that can be used to access his or her cottage as well as community amenities like the clubhouse and pool. This system allows residents to enjoy The Station amenities 24 hours a day.

Maintenance persons are given keys that are programmed to work only during certain hours, ensuring that no one other than the residents has after-hours access to the cottages, and preventing the keys from being copied. Management can also check the time log to confirm that repairs were completed during the allotted time with the keys.

ARE PETS ALLOWED IN THE STATION?

Yes, most of our cottages allow pets, although an additional security deposit and cleaning fee may apply.

HOW MANY SQUARE FEET ARE IN EACH COTTAGE?

The cottages range in size from approximately 1250 square feet (2 BR/2.5 BA) to approximately 1880 square feet (5 BR/5 BA).

WHEN IS RENT DUE?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month and is late on the 5th at 5PM. You can bring your rent check to the clubhouse or pay online using our online Pay Lease option.

WHAT DOES MY RENT INCLUDE?

Your monthly rent includes high speed internet, basic cable, pest control, trash, lawn maintenance, and access to all of The Station's amenities at no additional charge.
