Greek Life

Greek life is an exciting part of the Penn State experience, giving students opportunities to build friendships, get involved on campus, and connect with their community. At The Station State College, residents can enjoy off-campus living while staying within reach of Penn State’s Greek life, campus events, stadiums, and athletic fields.

Some of our residents participate in Greek life, and many of those students are already members of a fraternity or sorority before moving into The Station. Our location makes it easy to stay connected to your chapter while enjoying your own space away from campus.

Sorority Life At Penn State

Unlike some college campuses, Penn State does not have traditional off-campus sorority houses. Instead, sororities work with on-campus housing managed by Penn State LiveOn.

Sorority members are typically housed in suites in the South Halls area of campus, which is about an 8- to 10-minute drive from The Station State College. This allows residents who are involved in sorority life to stay connected to their chapter while choosing The Station as their off-campus home.
